Dr.Jart+ Cicapair Intensive Soothing Repair Serum is a lightweight serum for skin that looks red or feels easily irritated. Press an even layer onto cleansed, toned skin morning and evening, then follow with a moisturizer. It calms the look of redness and hydrates; it does not treat rosacea, eczema or acne.

What is in it

The serum is built on Centella asiatica extract and its three actives (asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid), with allantoin, glycerin, betaine and a peptide (palmitoyl tripeptide-8). The ingredient list shows no fragrance or essential oils. Dr.Jart+ states it is dermatologist tested and suitable for sensitive skin.

• Anyone who wants a light serum step under a moisturizer

Where it fits

Use it after toner and before cream. If your skin is both red and dry, it can go under the Ceramidin Moisturizing Cream, but note that cream contains essential oils, so patch test first. Persistent redness is a question for a doctor, not a serum.
