KERASTASE Chroma Absolu Masque Vert Chroma Neutralisant Hair Mask 150ml

Kérastase Chroma Absolu Masque Vert Chroma Neutralisant is a 150ml green colour-correcting mask for dark brunette hair. Kérastase positions it for brunette levels 1 to 4 and says it helps neutralise unwanted red and copper undertones while hydrating and strengthening. It deposits pigment, contains a silicone (amodimethicone) and is not for blonde hair.

How it works

Green sits opposite red on the colour wheel, so the formula's blue direct dyes (HC Blue No. 2 and HC Blue No. 15, listed in the ingredients) tone down warmth. A cetearyl alcohol and behentrimonium chloride base conditions. It is the brunette counterpart of a purple mask for blondes.

Who it suits

Dark brunettes whose colour turns red or copper, for example after months of Cyprus sun and sea water. Blondes with yellow tones should look at our brassy hair guide instead.

What it will not do

• It will not lift or change your colour. It only cancels warmth.
• It can stain. Porous or light areas may take more pigment, so wear gloves and apply evenly.
• It is not a repair mask. For porosity and strength, use the Masque Chroma Filler.
• It contains isopropyl alcohol and fragrance allergens (linalool, limonene).

Good to know

Apply to towel-dried hair after shampooing, wear gloves, spread evenly through the areas with unwanted warmth, avoid the scalp and skin, then emulsify and rinse well. Check the pack for processing time.

Bain Chroma Respect or Bain Riche and the Sérum Chroma Thermique.

Shampoo, then towel-dry the hair.

Emulsify and rinse thoroughly.
