KERASTASE Blond Absolu 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Hair & Scalp Serum 50ml

Kérastase Blond Absolu 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a leave-in hydrating serum for bleached and blonde hair and scalp. Kérastase says it carries its highest concentration of hyaluronic acid, in macro and micro forms. You apply it to towel-dried lengths and the scalp and leave it in.

How it works

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant: it attracts and binds water. That is useful on bleached hair, which loses moisture easily, but it cannot hold the water in by itself, so follow it with a light oil or conditioner to seal it in. The gel is water and glycerin based with no silicone-heavy coating, which is why it feels light.

Who it suits

• Freshly bleached or highlighted hair that feels dry and rough
• A scalp that feels tight after lightening or a dry-air summer

What it will not do

• It will not tone. It does not cancel yellow.
• It is not a repair mask. It hydrates; for stronger repair use Masque Cicaextreme.
• It will not treat a scalp condition. If your scalp is itchy or flaky, ask a dermatologist.

Good to know

It contains fragrance, limonene and PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil. Kérastase advises 7 to 13 pumps on towel-dried lengths depending on length, and 7 on the scalp. Patch test first if your scalp is fragrance-sensitive.

STEP 1
Apply to towel-dried hair. 7 to 13 doses depending on the lengths and 7 doses on the scalp.
1 dose = 1 pump.

STEP 2
Massage gently. Seal ends with Huile Cicaextreme for ultimate repair and hydration.

STEP 3
Proceed to blow dry or airdry.
