KERASTASE Blond Absolu Cicaflash Hydrating Conditioner 250ml

Kérastase Blond Absolu Cicaflash is a lightweight hydrating conditioner for blonde, bleached and highlighted hair. Kérastase describes it as mask-like care in a conditioner texture, which suits blonde hair that needs conditioning but goes limp under rich masks. Treat it as a conditioner first: for real yellow correction use the Ultra-Violet shampoo or mask.

How it works

It combines hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), ascorbyl glucoside (a vitamin C derivative) and edelweiss flower extract with a conditioning silicone that smooths and detangles. The ingredient list also includes a violet colourant (Ext. Violet 2), and Kérastase's UK site lists it as a purple conditioner, so it may add a slight cooling effect.

Who it suits

• Blonde, bleached, highlighted or balayage hair that is dry but fine
• Hair that tangles after bleaching and needs softening every wash

What it will not do

• It will not replace a purple shampoo. The violet colourant is a supporting ingredient, not a toner. Use Bain Ultra-Violet when yellow shows.
• It is not the strongest repair. For very damaged hair use Masque Cicaextreme.

Good to know

It contains fragrance, including citrus oil, limonene and linalool. Apply to shampooed, towel-dried lengths and leave for 3 to 5 minutes, as Kérastase advises.

Step 1 - Apply to shampooed and towel-dried hair. Massage lengths and ends.

Step 2 - Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 3 - Rinse.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately and thoroughly.
