KERASTASE Blond Absolu Masque Cicaextreme Repair Hair Mask 200ml

Kérastase Blond Absolu Masque Cicaextreme is an intensive repair mask for bleached and highly sensitised blonde hair. Kérastase positions it for very demanding, over-bleached hair, especially soon after a bleaching service. It is a conditioning treatment: it will not tone yellow, and no mask can permanently mend a split end.

How it works

The gel-in-cream texture combines hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) and edelweiss flower extract with sunflower seed oil and a conditioning silicone. Together they hydrate porous hair and smooth the surface so lengths feel softer and less fragile. Kérastase reports fewer split ends in instrumental tests, which reflects smoother, better-sealed ends rather than a repaired split.

Mask or conditioner?

Use Cicaflash as your regular conditioner. Reach for Cicaextreme when hair is freshly bleached, snaps easily or stays dry whatever you do.

What it will not do

• It will not tone. For yellow tones use Masque Ultra-Violet.
• It will not remove split ends. Only a trim does.

Good to know

It contains fragrance, including limonene. Leave it on for 5 minutes on damp hair, as Kérastase advises, then rinse.

Pair it with

• Bain Lumière: a hydrating shampoo to start the routine
• Cicaplasme Heat Protectant Serum: protection before blow-drying

Apply to damp hair.

Leave in for 5 minutes.
