KERASTASE Blond Absolu Ultimate Hydration Ritual

The Kérastase Blond Absolu Ultimate Hydration Ritual is a four-step set for blonde, bleached and highlighted hair that is dry and needs moisture rather than toning. It contains Bain Lumière Shampoo 250ml, Cicaflash Conditioner 250ml, 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum 50ml and CicaGloss Hair Oil 75ml. None of the four is a purple product, so the set will not cancel yellow tones.

What is inside

• Bain Lumière Hydrating Shampoo 250ml: cleanses lightened hair without toning it
• Cicaflash Hydrating Conditioner 250ml: lightweight conditioning with mask-like care
• 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Hair & Scalp Serum 50ml: a leave-in that draws water into hair and scalp
• CicaGloss Hair Oil 75ml: a finishing oil that seals ends and adds shine

Why this order works

The shampoo and conditioner clean and soften, the hyaluronic serum attracts water, and the oil goes last because it sits on the surface and holds that moisture in. Skipping the oil leaves the serum with nothing to seal it.

What it will not do

• It will not tone yellow. Add Bain Ultra-Violet or Masque Ultra-Violet if your blonde turns warm.
• It is not the strongest repair. For freshly bleached or snapping hair add Masque Cicaextreme.

Good to know

The shampoo cleanses with sodium laureth sulfate and all four products contain fragrance. The full ingredient list of each product is below.

Wash hair with KERASTASE Blond Absolu Bain Lumière Shampoo and rinse thoroughly.
Apply KERASTASE Blond Absolu Cicaflash Conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends.
Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Apply KERASTASE Blond Absolu 2 Percent Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum to the scalp and lengths on towel-dried hair. Do not rinse.
Finish with KERASTASE Blond Absolu CicaGloss Hydrating Hair Oil on damp or dry mid-lengths and ends for long-lasting hydration, shine and frizz control.
