KERASTASE Chroma Absolu Masque Chroma Filler Hair Mask 200ml

Kérastase Chroma Absolu Masque Chroma Filler is a rich 200ml anti-porosity mask for sensitised or damaged colour-treated hair, especially medium-to-thick strands. Kérastase says it nourishes deeply, helps strengthen weakened strands, smooths and supports colour retention. It contains a silicone (amodimethicone) and colourants.

How it works

Cetearyl alcohol and behentrimonium chloride give the rich, conditioning cream base, and amodimethicone coats and smooths the fibre. Arginine, sodium hyaluronate, Centella asiatica extract and lactic acid are the other named ingredients. Kérastase reports stronger and smoother hair in instrumental tests when used within the Chroma Absolu routine.

Who it suits

Medium-to-thick dyed hair that feels porous, rough or dull after repeated colouring, or after a summer of sun and chlorine. Fine hair may find it heavy; see the lighter Fondant Cica Chroma.

What it will not do

• It is not silicone-free and also contains isopropyl alcohol and fragrance allergens (linalool, limonene).
• It will not make colour permanent. It helps reduce porosity, which helps colour stay longer.
• It is not a gloss treatment. For shine, use Soin Acide Chroma Gloss.

Good to know

Kérastase directs a coin-sized amount on towel-dried hair, left for 2 to 5 minutes, then emulsified and rinsed.

Pair it with

Bain Riche Chroma Respect and Sérum Chroma Thermique.

Step 1
Apply a coin-sized amount to towel-dried hair.

Step 2
Leave in for 2-5 minutes.

Step 3
Emulsify and rinse.
