Kérastase Discipline Maskératine is an intensive anti-frizz hair mask for 200ml, sold in Cyprus by Peggy Mou for frizzy, unruly hair that needs smoothing after shampooing.

How it works

Kérastase says the mask smooths and controls frizz. Its formula contains amodimethicone (a conditioning silicone) and hydrolyzed wheat protein, which coat the lengths and ends to leave hair softer and easier to manage.

Who it suits

Thick, coarse, wavy or frizz-prone hair, especially in Cyprus humidity and after sun, sea salt or chlorine exposure.

What it will not do

It is a rinse-off mask, not a permanent straightening treatment. It contains silicones, isopropyl alcohol, methylparaben, wheat protein and fragrance allergens, so check the list if you are sensitive.

Good to know

Apply to washed, towel-dried lengths and ends, leave about 5 minutes, add water, emulsify and rinse thoroughly.
