KERASTASE Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo

Kérastase Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant is a fortifying shampoo for thin or oily hair that is weakened and falls because it breaks. It comes in 250ml and 500ml. Kérastase says it gently clarifies, helps reinforce the fibre and removes oil build-up on the scalp. It cleanses with sodium laureth sulfate and contains no silicones.

How it works

The Genesis complex combines edelweiss native cells, ginger root extract and xylitol-based moisturisers (xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol), with polyquaternium-10 to condition. Salicylic acid helps with oil on the scalp.

Who it suits

Fine, oily-rooted hair that is breaking, including scalp oil made worse by Cyprus heat and humidity.

What it will not do

• It does not treat hair loss. It targets fall caused by breakage.
• It is not sulfate-free.
• It does not condition on its own. Follow with the Fondant Renforçateur.
• It contains fragrance allergens.

Kérastase directs: wet hair and remove excess water, apply a small amount, add water and emulsify, rinse and repeat, then style.

Fondant Renforçateur and the Sérum Anti-Chute.
