Product Description
Kérastase Nutritive Bain Satin Riche is the richer nourishing shampoo of the Nutritive range, made for very dry hair. Kérastase says it combines plant-based proteins, niacinamide and glycerin to cleanse while restoring softness and shine. It cleanses with sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate, so it is not sulfate-free.
How it works
It is a creamy cleansing shampoo with moisture-binding glycerin, panthenol and niacinamide, plus hydrolysed wheat, corn and soy proteins that condition the hair surface. Dimethicone adds slip so rough, dry lengths comb more easily after rinsing.
Who it suits
- Very dry, dehydrated or thick hair that feels rough and lacks softness
- Hair that is dry from Cyprus sun, salt water, chlorine, hard water or air conditioning
- Anyone who finds the standard Bain Satin not rich enough
What it will not do
- It is not sulfate-free. Choose a different shampoo if you want to avoid sulfates.
- It will not repair damage on its own. The conditioner or mask you use after it does the repair work.
- It may feel heavy on fine or oily hair. For fine, normal-to-dry hair the lighter Bain Satin is the better match.
Good to know
Available in 250ml and 500ml. It contains wheat- and soy-derived proteins and fragrance. Kérastase advises reducing how often you use it if irritation occurs, and rinsing eyes immediately and thoroughly if the shampoo gets into them.
Pair it with
