Product Description
Kérastase Nutritive Nutri-Supplement Hydrating Scalp Serum is a 90ml leave-in serum applied to a dry or damp scalp. It is aimed at a dry, uncomfortable scalp and contains glycerin, niacinamide and panthenol. It also contains mineral oil (paraffinum liquidum), which is worth knowing if you avoid it.
How it works
Glycerin, panthenol, niacinamide and butylene glycol attract and hold water on the scalp surface, while mineral oil, amodimethicone and candelilla wax form a light film that slows moisture loss. You massage it in and leave it on, so the film stays on the scalp.
Who it suits
- A dry, tight or dehydrated-feeling scalp, including from sun, sea water, chlorine and air conditioning in Cyprus
- Anyone who wants a leave-in scalp step in the Nutritive routine
What it will not do
- It is not a treatment for dandruff, eczema or hair loss. It is a moisturising serum, not a medical product.
- It is not for mineral-oil-free routines. The ingredient list includes paraffinum liquidum.
- It will not hydrate the lengths. It is made for the scalp.
Good to know
Kérastase says to apply 2 to 4 doses section by section on a dry or damp scalp depending on hair thickness, massage to distribute, blow-dry and do not rinse. Use as often as needed. The formula contains isopropyl alcohol, wheat, corn and soy proteins and fragrance. Rinse eyes immediately and thoroughly if it gets into them, and reduce use if irritation occurs.
Pair it with
- Bain Satin: nourishing shampoo for normal to dry hair
- Lait Vital: lightweight conditioning for the lengths
