Product Description
Kérastase Résistance Bain Force Architecte is a 250ml strengthening shampoo for damaged, weakened hair that breaks easily. Kérastase positions it for hair at erosion levels 1 to 2 and builds it around its Vita-Ciment® complex. It cleanses with sulfates, so it is not a sulfate-free shampoo.
How it works
Kérastase says the formula helps prevent breakage and split ends and leaves hair soft, sleek and protected. The ingredient list includes 2-oleamido-1,3-octadecanediol (a ceramide-type ingredient), trehalose, tamarind seed polysaccharide and resurrection plant extract (Myrothamnus flabellifolia).
Who it suits
Weakened, heat-styled or colour-treated hair that snaps when brushed, including hair roughened by Cyprus sun, sea salt and chlorine.
What it will not do
- It is not sulfate-free. It contains sodium laureth sulfate and several other sulfate cleansers.
- It will not rebuild damage on its own. It is a wash step; the mask and leave-in do the conditioning.
- It contains alcohol denat., parabens and fragrance allergens. Check the list below if your scalp is sensitive.
- It is not for very over-processed hair. For that, look at the Bain Thérapiste.
Good to know
Kérastase suggests a quarter-size amount, worked through the roots and pulled through the lengths, with a second wash for a deeper clean.
Pair it with
Masque Force Architecte for conditioning and Ciment Thermique before blow-drying. For repair after summer, read our guide to repairing sun, salt and chlorine damage.
