Kérastase Symbiose Bain Crème Anti-Pelliculaire is a 250ml hydrating anti-dandruff shampoo for dry, sensitive scalps prone to dandruff, available in Cyprus from Peggy Mou. Kérastase says its anti-dandruff efficacy lasts up to 7 weeks following its 4-week protocol (3 applications a week).

How it works

The creamy formula lists piroctone olamine (an anti-dandruff active) and salicylic acid (which helps loosen flakes), with glycerin and squalane for comfort.

Who it suits

Visible flakes on a dry, tight or sensitive scalp. For an oily, dandruff-prone scalp, Kérastase offers Bain Pureté instead.

What it will not do

It manages visible dandruff but is not a medical treatment for scalp conditions such as psoriasis or eczema. It contains sulfate-type cleansers (e.g. sodium lauryl sulfoacetate), fragrance and fragrance allergens.

Good to know

Apply to wet hair, add water, emulsify and rinse thoroughly. Rinse eyes immediately if contact occurs. If irritation occurs, reduce frequency.

Symbiose Micro-Peeling Cellulaire before shampooing and Fondant Apaisant Essentiel afterwards.
